Privacy

What this site collects

Nothing. The site sets no cookies, runs no analytics, loads no third-party scripts or fonts, and has no advertising. There are no accounts and no tracking pixels. Our hosting provider processes the requests needed to serve these pages and may keep standard technical logs under its own policy; we do not use those logs to build profiles or to identify visitors.

Your ledger data

Entries, invoices, business details and the license key are stored in your browser's local storage under the key tallyline.v1. They are not sent to us or to anyone else. The app makes no network requests after the page has loaded.

Because the data is only in your browser, clearing this site's data, using private browsing, or resetting the app deletes it. Backups are JSON files that you download and keep; they are ordinary files on your device and are never uploaded by the app.

Purchases

Pro is bought through our payment partner's hosted checkout. We never see or store card details. The payment partner handles the transaction and its own privacy policy applies to the checkout. We receive the information needed to confirm the purchase and send your license key, which includes the email address you entered at checkout.

Support emails

If you email support, your message and address are kept only as long as needed to answer the request and to handle any related refund or license issue. They are not added to a mailing list and are not used for marketing.

Children

Tallyline is a business tool and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone, including children.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new date. The app itself stays local-first: no update will start sending your ledger anywhere.
